JavaScript Programming
Make web pages respond to people. Start with programming logic, then build interactive pages, validate forms, save browser data and bring in information from APIs.

- Who it's for
- Grades 7+, college students and beginners in web development
Typically ages 12+ - Suggested duration
- 35 classes / 8 to 10 weeks
- How you learn
- Concepts → practice → projects
Age ranges are approximate. We'll confirm your starting module and class schedule before enrolment.
The goal
What you'll learn to do
- Use variables, data types, operators, arrays, objects, functions, conditions and loops to solve small problems.
- Update page content and respond to clicks, keyboard input and form submissions using the DOM and events.
- Validate input, debug errors and save or retrieve data with localStorage.
- Read modern JavaScript syntax and use promises, async/await and fetch to work with APIs.
- Plan, build, test and explain an interactive web app or browser game.
